» What is the difference between a 19+ show and an All Ages show?

All ages show will permit entrance to anyone, but, anyone wishing to drink Alcohol will need to provide two pieces of government ID as proof of age to do so. Ontario's legal drinking age is 19. A 19+ show will only allow admittance to those who are over 19 years of age as of the day of the show and can prove it with two pieces of government ID. No exceptions.

» Can I buy tickets at the door?

If a show is marked "sold out" the chances are no. We try to make tickets available anytime a show is not sold out, but it is best to check before coming to the venue.

» Where can I buy tickets?

Most of the shows at our venue are available through ticketmaster. www.ticketmaster.ca Various shows offer tickets through other retailers; please check our calendar or local listings for details.

» Where can I park?

Parking is available in the city parking lot on Broadview Ave. just north of Queen on the east side. Rates are very reasonable. www.greenp.com Limited street parking is available at certain hours, please read the signs carefully.

» Is The Opera House wheelchair accessible?

The main level of The Opera House is accessible to wheelchairs, access to the stage level and balcony is not, and there are two sets of stairs of two to the stage level. A Wheelchair accessible washroom is available.

» Can I smoke inside the Opera House?

No, smoking inside facilities such as ours is against the law in Ontario. This will be strictly enforced. We provide a fenced area outside the venue for those patrons of legal age who want to smoke.

» Can I buy a t-shirts and CDs?

The Opera House does not sell merchandise; the performers themselves provide and sell the merchandise. Most bands do sell merchandise but prices and availability vary.

» Is it safe to come to the Opera House?

The general neighborhood is safe, well lit, easily accessible and well patrolled by the Toronto Police. We provide private security at all events and take the safety and security of our patrons very seriously.

» How do I get to the Opera House?

» When is the next performance of the COC?

The Opera House is not the Four Seasons Performing Arts Centre where the Canadian Opera Company performs, you can find out information about that facility here www.fourseasonscentre.ca.
