The following items are not permitted inside the venue:

• Weapons of any kind, including spiked jewelry

• Alcohol

• Illegal drugs and substances

• Outside food and drink

• Cans or glass containers

• Hard-sided or large coolers

• Large bags or backpacks (maximum size: 12” x 6” x 12”)

• Laser pointers or selfie sticks

• Lawn chairs or blankets

• Animals (except service animals)

• Professional audio or video recording equipment

• Drones

• Fireworks, fire-starters, or open flames

• Spray paint or permanent markers

• Any items deemed dangerous by the venue’s management or law enforcement

Security has the final say on prohibited items. If an item is deemed questionable, it may be confiscated or held at the security room for pick-up after the event. Please use good judgment when deciding what to bring.

Medication Policy:
Physician-prescribed medication is allowed inside the venue if:

• The prescription label includes your name (matching your photo ID), the medication name, usage directions, and the prescription date.

• It is not expired.

• It is a necessary dosage for the event's duration.

If the medication raises concerns, it will be held with security and can be retrieved after the event.

All tickets purchased in advance are done online ONLY.

There is no box office at the venue during the day or in advance of the show. If the show does not sell out, tickets may be purchased in person on the day of the show starting at the time of the doors. Tickets are subject to availability. We do not hold or reserve tickets, and we cannot guarantee there will be tickets left at the time of your arrival. Purchasing tickets online is your safest bet. Will call is also only available at the time doors open.

Mobile tickets must be the official pdf, and not a screenshot of a ticket and/or barcode.

The Opera House is a CASHLESS venue. We accept any Canadian-issued and most non-Canadian issued credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover or UnionPay International logo, as well as Interac Debit cards.

If asked to provide identification, you must present an official, government-issued photo ID that includes your name, photo, and birthdate. Acceptable forms of ID include:

• Driver´s Licence with a photo of the person to whom the licence is issued

• A Passport

• Citizenship Card with a photo of the person to whom the card is issued

• Armed Forces Identification Card

• A photo card issued by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO), entitled Bring Your ID (BYID)

• A Secure Indian Status Card issued by the Government of Canada

• A Permanent Resident Card issued by the Government of Canada

• A photo card issued under the Photo Card Act, 2008

• A photo Health Card

Important: The ID must be valid and not expired. Photocopies, digital images, or photos of ID are not accepted—you must have the physical, original ID with you.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who fails to provide an acceptable, valid, and non-expired ID, regardless of their age or appearance. If there are concerns about the validity of your ID, we may request a secondary piece of identification.

If a show is listed as “All Ages” ID is only required for purchasing and consuming alcohol. If a show is listed as “19+”, ID is mandatory for entry, as well as for purchasing and consuming alcohol.

The Opera House has coat check and bag check available year round. No backpacks are allowed in the venue and must be put in coat check at the beginning of the night. If you do not want to use coat check, please refrain from bringing a backpack. Small purses are permitted in the venue.

The Opera House is primarily a standing general admission (GA) venue, with one row of seating available in the balcony. These seats are typically offered on a first-come, first-served basis. However, for some events, balcony seating may be available for purchase. The mezzanine seating area accommodates up to 20 guests.

Mezzanine Standing is located directly behind Mezzanine Seated on our tiered balcony. This area provides incredible sightlines of the stage for an elevated viewing experience.

You can check whether an event is entirely GA or includes purchasable seating by reviewing the venue layout on the Ticketmaster website.

The Opera House has two permanent bars: one on the main floor and one in the balcony. Additionally, we use portable bars on the main floor, which are set up based on the specific night.

Each bar offers a variety of beer, wine, mixed drinks, cider, coolers, soda, juice, energy drinks, and more. Please note that our bars accept credit and debit only, as we are a cashless venue. Alcohol is not permitted outside the venue.

The Opera House is a non-smoking venue, with a strict policy against smoking or vaping of any kind inside the building. Violators will be escorted out and will not be permitted re-entry, and no refunds will be issued for tickets.

Cannabis consumption and possession within The Opera House will adhere to the legal guidelines set by the Canadian Federal Government. Patrons may carry and bring the legal amount of cannabis inside the venue but are permitted to smoke only in designated outdoor areas.

At the The Opera House, great events are the heart of what we do. An important part of any great event is ensuring a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for our guests, artists and staff to experience.

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask that your conduct contribute to everyone’s enjoyment of the event, be legally appropriate, and not be offensive or abusive to others. For your safety and comfort, unacceptable conduct is subject to ejection and includes, but is not limited to, the following:

•  Use of foul, threatening, offensive or abusive language or gestures.
• Fighting or any other type of violence.
• Discrimination, bullying or hate that harasses, victimizes, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, race, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, physical appearance or other.
• Harassment, including unwelcome or hostile behavior, physical contact or sexual attention.
• Wearing or using clothing, signs, and banners which are offensive in nature.
• Intoxication or impairment due to alcohol/cannabis or consumption of illegal substances.
• Throwing objects or interfering with the progress of the event.
• Being in possession of alcohol not purchased inside the Opera House.
• Being a minor in possession of alcohol or providing a minor with alcohol.
• Being in possession of weapons, illegal substances or any other prohibited items.
• Smoking (including e-cigarettes, personal vaporizers, and cannabis) inside the venue.
• Unpermitted access and breaching perimeters to the venue, VIP areas or other restricted areas.
• Any other conduct that may be deemed by the Opera house to be inappropriate or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, or disruption of the event.

Live Nation Canada will not tolerate any unsafe, offensive behaviour that violates of Fan Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by this Code may result in ejection, suspension from entering any or all of our venues.

Each of us has a responsibility to report any act that goes against the values that we stand for. So, if you see something, say something. Report any safety concerns to our management team right away.
